it was the appropriate moments whereas the bride and the groom meet after they was announced as husband and wife.

by washing the groom's feet, the bride proves that she is going to respect and to be a good wife, a good mother and a good partner to her husband. after that, the groom give his hands to help the bride in purpose obviously to helping and supporting between husband wife relationship.

and before they are starting their new marriage life....the bride's father give the guidance to the new couple hand in hand before they are definitely beginning the new marriage life.
